Green Mountain

Rated Beginner/Intermediate. No matter which way you look at Green Mountain, it offers a good workout with lots of climbing, lots of relatively smooth single track, some baby heads (depending on trail) and can be ridden through most of the year when its dry. However, the wet mud will destroy your bike if you ignore trial etiquette and ride the trails when wet! (just sayin)

Directions: From I-25, take 6th Ave west. Drive approximately 8 miles to the C-470 exit ramp off of 6th Ave. Take the Alameda exit off of C-470 (approx 2 miles). Turn right onto Alameda and then right again onto N. Rooney Rd. Go approx.  1 mile and turn right into the large paved parking lot. NOTE: There are several other parking lots/trailheads for these trails, all of which are fine. However, for the Dirt Divas purposes, this is where we meet for our group rides.
