Rated: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. There are several different ways to ride this area. All of them fun and several can be challenging with some steep climbing. The Black Jack Trails are Advanced trails and require advanced skills and bike control.

Directions: The most common way to access the Buffalo Creek Trails is to take Hwy 285 heading towards Bailey. Go through Conifer to Pine Junction. Turn LEFT on Cty Rd 126 and travel south going through Pine. First access to the Buff Creek Trail system: Turn right at Cty Rd 543. Go past the “do not enter” sign, legal parking is on your left. To access the Colorado Trail, continue past this first turn off until you come to Service Road 550. Turn right and then turn right again into a pay parking lot.
